J. Gerard Donovan
Mr.
Donovan is the President of Quality Practitioners, Inc., a consulting firm
specializing in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 Management Systems.
Gerard has manufacturing experience in the areas of consumer and government
electronics and medical equipment. Gerard is an ISO 9000, ISO 14001, and
AS 9100 Certified Lead Auditor.
Gerard has nearly 20 years experience in Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Management. He has been involved in ISO 9000 since 1986. Gerard has developed the most comprehensive ISO training available, which has been acclaimed as the most thorough and easily understood training on the ISO 9000 Series of Standards. Gerard is a Master Trainer and has earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. As President of Quality Practitioners, Inc. (QPI), Mr. Donovan is responsible for business development, program development, project management and P&L.
In addition to the above, Mr. Donovan is the founder of the Midlands Auditing Group, has held various positions on the Executive Committee for the American Society of Quality Control, and has taken an active role in redesigning the Nebraska State Quality Award. He is also an advisor to the Nebraska ISO Network and to Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
